We can’t promise a date: the regulator decides every application in its own time. What we control is the paperwork. We prepare it properly and check every page, so it doesn’t come back for something missing. At the free check, we tell you what’s usual for your license.

Usually a missing document. The sooner we have your ID, work history and pay records, the sooner everything else starts. Police checks and skills assessments take the time they take.

Possibly. In New South Wales a builder license asks for a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, plus either a Diploma of Building and Construction or a carpentry or bricklaying license, and two years of building work under a licensed builder. Carpentry is one way, not the only one. Your experience decides which way suits you.

Not at the moment. Electrical work is licensed differently, and it isn’t one of the licenses we help with.

No. We help with contractor licenses for builders and trades, automotive licenses and labour hire licenses.

Usually not. A registered training organisation (RTO) assesses the skills you already have. If something is missing, you may need a short course for those parts.

It can help you get the qualification: an RTO can assess skills you learned overseas. For the license itself, each state has its own rules about experience. Tell us your history and we give you a straight answer.
