Get your waterproofing license.
Showers, laundries and balconies depend on your membrane. A waterproofing license lets you take this work under your own name. We check what you need and prepare the paperwork.

- What NSW asks for
- Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing (CPC31420), or an older version like CPC31411
What the license lets you do.

Questions people ask us.
Something else on your mind?
Ask us on WhatsAppDo I need a license for one shower?
In NSW, home waterproofing needs a license above $5,000 in labour and materials, including GST. The membrane and primer count, as well as your time.
Can I tile the shower after I waterproof it?
Not on a waterproofing license alone. Laying tiles needs a wall and floor tiling license. You can hold both, and we can help with each.
I learned waterproofing overseas. Does it count?
Overseas jobs can count as evidence for the Australian Certificate III. NSW doesn’t accept the overseas qualification itself.
How long does it take, and how much is it?
We can only say once we know what you hold. The free check ends with the full cost and a timeframe, before you agree to anything.
I’m not in NSW. Can you help?
Yes. Each state licenses waterproofing in its own way. Tell us where you work, and we’ll find out the rules there.
