Get your tiling license.
You tile bathrooms, kitchens and floors for other people. In NSW, a wall and floor tiling license lets you take these jobs in your own name. We help with the Certificate III and the application.

- What NSW asks for
- Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (CPC31320), or an older version like CPC31311
What the license lets you do.
A bathroom takes days of skilled work. On your own license, you price the whole room, waterproofing included.
What it covers, on the regulator’s own page
- Take home tiling jobs over $5,000 with your name on the contract.
- Waterproof a wet area before you tile it, in the same job.
- Tile floors, walls and splashbacks, inside and outside.

Questions people ask us.
Something else on your mind?
Ask us on WhatsAppDo I need a license for a small bathroom?
You need one for home tiling worth more than $5,000 in labour and materials, including GST. Tiles, glue and waterproofing all count toward that total.
Does a tiling license cover waterproofing?
Partly. It covers waterproofing a wet area before you tile it. A waterproofing license is a separate class, and it doesn’t cover laying tiles.
I tiled overseas for years. Does that count?
Yes, as evidence for the Certificate III. The license needs the Australian qualification, so we help you turn those jobs into evidence.
What will it cost, and how long will it take?
That depends on what you already hold and the tiling you can show. The free check tells you the full cost and a fair timeframe.
I tile in another state. Can you help?
Yes. Each state handles tiling licenses its own way. Tell us your state and we’ll check what it asks for.
