Get your concreting license.
You set forms, fix steel and pour slabs for other contractors. In NSW, a general concreting license lets you take this work yourself. We arrange your Certificate III and do the paperwork.

- What NSW asks for
- Certificate III in Concreting (CPC30320), or another qualification on the list, like Formwork/Falsework
What the license lets you do.
On a subcontract rate, the builder decides what your pour is worth. With your own license, you price paths and slabs for owners yourself.

Questions people ask us.
Something else on your mind?
Ask us on WhatsAppDo I need a license for a small slab?
For homes, you need one when the job is worth more than $5,000 in labour and materials, including GST. Concrete and steel count toward the total.
Can a carpenter or bricklayer pour concrete?
Only a little, like footings for a deck or a small brick fence. Paths and slabs need a general concreting license.
What about retaining walls?
Concrete retaining walls that don’t need council approval are concreting work. Walls that need approval come under structural landscaping or building.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
It depends on what you hold and how much your work covers. You get the full cost and a timeframe at the free check, with no obligation.
I work in another state. Can you help?
Yes. Concreting rules differ between states. Tell us where you pour, and we’ll check what you need there.
