Get your bricklaying license.

You lay bricks for houses, fences and walls. A bricklaying license lets you put your own name on these contracts. We arrange the qualification and prepare your application.

What NSW asks for
Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying (CPC33020), or an older version like CPC30111

What the license lets you do.

On a subcontract, you’re paid per brick. With your own license, you quote fences and walls to the owner and set the price.

What it covers, on the regulator’s own page

  • Take home brick and block jobs over $5,000 in your own name.
  • Build brick fences and walls, with the small footings under them.
  • Use it later toward a builder license, in place of the Diploma.

Who qualifies.

NSW asks for 3 things. We help with each one.

Ask us on WhatsApp
When do I need a license?

For home bricklaying worth more than $5,000 in labour and materials, including GST. Bricks, blocks and mortar count, as well as your labour.

Can it lead to a builder license?

Yes. NSW accepts a Certificate IV in Building and Construction with a bricklaying license instead of the Diploma. You also need two years of wide building work under a licensed builder.

I laid bricks overseas. Does it count?

It can help as evidence for the Certificate III here. The license itself needs that Australian qualification.

How much is it, and how long does it take?

We know once we see your work and what you hold. The free check tells you the full cost and a timeframe.

Can you help in other states?

Yes. Bricklaying rules are not the same in every state. Tell us where you work, and we’ll check before you spend anything.

Check if you qualify for free.
